(Foundation Learning & KS2)
- We are based on the Orme in beautiful surroundings.
- We prepare our learners to access and reintegrate into their mainstream schools.
- We do this through targeted behaviour, TIS and educational activities that support children to access learning whilst being able to learn new strategies that will help them regulate their own behaviour.
- We offer shared packages with their mainstream schools that gradually increase time with the correct support.
- The learners access the curriculum at their individual level comparable with their mainstream settings making progress in line with expectations.
Ysgol Penmaenrhos
(KS3)
- At our KS3 Referral Unit, we recognise this phase as a crucial learning point in a young learner’s educational journey. It is a time when learners begin to make important decisions that shape their future pathways.
- We provide a nurturing yet structured environment where pupils can re-engage with learning, rebuild confidence, and develop personal and social skills essential for wellbeing. Our curriculum is tailored to reset individual needs while learning self-awareness, resilience and a sense of purpose.
- We pride ourselves on helping students:
- Develop a strong sense of identity and belonging
- Build emotional resilience and self-regulation skills
- Prepare for KS4 through guided choices and goal setting
- Reignite ambition and motivation to succeed.
- Through personalised support and close collaboration with families and professionals, we ensure that each learner is equipped to face the challenges of adolescence and step confidently towards the next stage of their educational journey back to mainstream schooling.

(KS4)
We develop a personalised education that supports each student to re-engage with learning and achieve their potential. Our focus is on building confidence, self-esteem and the self-belief to improve life choices.
